Tree Boas

Corallus is the genus of seven species of boas found in Central America, South America and the West Indies. Corallus are long, slightly flattened laterally with thin bodies with large heads, typically with large eyes, though less pronounced in the larger species. Corallus are nocturnal and have very pronounced thermoreceptive pits located between the labial scales.

Boa manditra (also known as the Malagasy tree boa, or Madagascar tree boa) is a species endemic to the island of Madagascar.
